Membership to Building Responsibility is open to companies of all sizes operating in the built environment and energy sector. We also welcome applications from other organizations interested in working with us to promote the rights and welfare of engineering and construction workers, including clients, industry groups, NGOs and international organizations.

To ensure a variety of perspectives and to leverage a range of expertise, Building Responsibly has introduced tiered membership comprising two categories: Board Members and Associate Members.

Board Members

Building Responsibly Board Members are the decision-making participants of our coalition. Our Board Membership is composed of some of the world’s biggest companies operating in the built environment, representing over 580,000 employees and operating in over 100 countries.

Associate Members

Building Responsibly Associate Members are companies or industry associations and NGOs operating the built environment or energy sector that engage with the group without participating in the direction of the initiative. Associate Members can take part in some activities and tools development of but cannot vote on the coalition’s strategic decisions. Our current Associate Members are:
